Video Sphere

The Video Sphere background wraps a video around your entire scene like a 360° environment. Imagine you're looking at a sphere and the video is playing on the surface of the sphere. This creates an immersive backdrop that surrounds your visualizers and other elements. You can upload your own video footage or browse the built-in Pexels library for free stock videos: from abstract patterns to nature scenes and cityscapes.

Quick Start

Add from Elements tab > Backgrounds > Video Sphere. Browse Pexels for free videos or upload your own.

Properties

Video Source

Choose between two options for your video background:

Browse (Pexels): Search and select from thousands of free stock videos. The built-in Pexels integration gives you instant access to professional-quality footage — search for "abstract," "nature," "city," or any keyword to find the perfect backdrop.

Upload: Use your own video file. Upload MP4, WebM, or other supported video formats. This is great for branded content or when you need a specific look.

Start From

When using longer videos, adjust where playback begins. Use the slider to set the starting point in the video — useful for skipping intros or starting from a specific moment that matches your music.

Tips & Best Practices

Pro Tip

Abstract and out-of-focus videos work best as backgrounds since they don't compete with your main content. Look for videos with slow, smooth movement: fast-paced footage can be distracting. The Pexels library has great options when you search for "abstract background," "bokeh," or "slow motion."
