How to create animated lyric videos?

Animated lyric videos are easy and fun to make in Banger.Show.

Here's a quick guide to help you get started.

Step-by-step guide

1. Add a Lyrics element
   Go to the Elements tab and click on the Lyrics element. It will be automatically added to your timeline. Extend the clip to match your scene’s duration.

2. Generate transcript with AI
   Scroll down in the Inspector and click Recognize Lyrics.
   This runs an AI model on your audio and generates a transcript directly in your timeline.

3. Fine-tune the transcript

   • Click any word to jump to its position in the timeline.
   • Adjust word or line timings manually.
   • Edit or delete lines as needed.
   • Use Regenerate to reset the transcript if necessary.

4. Style your lyrics
   At the top of the Inspector:

   • Choose your font
   • Customize text color
   • Customize text size using Scale
   • You can also customize Opacity, Metalness, Roughness, Thickness, and Outline

5. Group your lyrics
   In the Lyric Grouping section:

   • Group by word or sentence
   • Each mode has different settings you can tweak for your desired look

6. Animate your lyrics
   In the Animation Style section:

   • Choose from built-in animation presets (e.g., Wobbly Bounce)
   • Customize animation speed and style
   • Example: Make the "shake speed" increase over time using keyframes

7. Go further with automation

   • You can keyframe any animation parameter
   • Create multiple lyric clips with different styles
   • Combine clips for more advanced layouts
